Nigeria’s ministry of women affairs and social development held a ‘send forth’ dinner for 106 girls who were once kidnapped by Boko Haram in the Nigerian Town of Chibok in 2014. The girls have been staying in a government-owned facility to enable them undergo psychological and medical care - will now be joining their families. 270 girls in all were originally abducted and some returned after escaping or freed following mediation.
