Britain is set to hold elections on December 12th, after the European Commission agreed on an extension for Brexit until January 31st. Britain was to leave the EU by October 31st but MPs shot down Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s Brexit strategy. Johnson who had promised to deliver Brexit on Oct. 31, with or without a deal wanted a Dec. 12 election. Before the vote, Johnson had said parliament was obstructing Brexit and thus damaging the economy by preventing investment decisions, and corroding faith in democracy.
